1. Operator and Regional Applicability
The Service is operated by the CollegeUp AI Independent Operation Team. This Service and these Terms are designed specifically for users in the United States. Users accessing the Service from other jurisdictions do so at their own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with their local laws.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
Our Service is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service. If you are between 14 and 17 years old, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to read these Terms and use the Service.
3. Services and AI Disclaimer
CollegeUp AI provides an AI-assisted DIY college application planning tool. We are a technology provider, not an admissions agency. We do not submit applications on your behalf, and we do not guarantee any specific admission outcomes. The AI outputs are for qualitative reference only and do not constitute professional admissions, legal, or financial advice.
4. Prohibited Conduct and Intellectual Property
You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purposes, fake your academic background, or use automated scripts to scrape our AI interfaces. You acknowledge that AI-generated materials are not your 100% original work; submitting them to academic institutions without disclosure may violate their academic integrity policies, for which you bear sole responsibility.
5. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewals, and Cancellations
Our Pro subscription is billed via our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments.
Auto-Renewal and Immediate Billing: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) until you cancel. There is no free trial period, and you will be billed immediately upon confirmation.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
As an independent operation team currently operating without a registered corporate entity, these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court.
